This is a dwarf that I started sculpting the other day. My plan is to get him some armor, texture, and then experiment with the fibermesh system in ZBrush.
My current projects are geared towards me learning the software while letting my imagination roam a bit.
Here I just made a simple character sheet to check the proportions of this bloke.
Below you will see a close up of his head. I ran into a weird issue with dynamesh. I gave him a mouth and positioned the the upper and lower lips close to each other. After having dynamesh retopologize the mesh by holding CTRL+ dragging in any open space on the canvas the parts of the upper and lower lips connected. So now I will have to experiment with using the slice curve tool to separate them again.
I am excited to get some more work done on this guy. I still need to give the goblin some armor and add details and texture. So this week is going to be busy and fun. I am looking forward to seeing how far I can push these sculpts and I will post pics of the progress.
